BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS

Thank you for your reservation, you are warmly welcome to Larin Lomat.

These terms and conditions become binding on both parties when the customer has made a 30% advance payment for the holiday cottage they have booked or has paid both the advance payment and the final payment at once. 
The advance payment and the final payment must be paid by the due dates stated on the invoice. 
A reservation fee of 30% of the total price is paid 7 days after making the reservation. The final invoice of 70% is due 30 days before the arrival date.
Bookings with less than 30 days to the start date are due for the entire invoice immediately.

The person making the reservation must be 18 years of age or older.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If the customer has to cancel their reservation, they must immediately notify Larin Lomat of the cancellation by email, letter or telephone.
Non-payment of the reservation fee or final payment does not mean cancellation of the reservation, and does not release the booker from these cancellation conditions.
If invoices are not paid by the due date, Larin Lomat has the right to cancel the reservation. The advance payment will be withheld from the cancellation of the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled later than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the full amount will be charged.
In cases of illness, we will refund the full amount upon receipt of a medical certificate.
Please remember to take out travel insurance.

Larin Lomat has the right to cancel the reservation.
If there is a force majeure event, we may terminate the agreement. We are obliged to notify the customer of this immediately.
In this case, the customer has the right to receive a full refund of the rent paid. The customer may also be offered the option of rescheduling the reservation to a later date.

If the customer cancels their reservation and leaves the holiday destination before the end of the rental period, the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent.

 

NUMBER OF PERSONS

The holiday destination may be used by a maximum of the number of people stated in the holiday destination description as the number of beds or as agreed upon when booking the holiday destination. For example, parties and other events where the number of people in the accommodation destination is temporarily exceeded must be notified and agreed upon in advance.

The import of motorhomes and caravans must be agreed upon in advance, electricity for them is not included in the rent. Charging of electric and hybrid cars is also not included in the rent.

Importing a lot must be notified separately. Water intake from the lake. Firewood fee according to the outdoor sauna charge.

KEY HANDOVER

The key is available from the cottage's key box on the day of arrival starting at 4:00 PM and must be handed over by 12:00 PM on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. The key code will be sent to the customer by email 1 day before the start of the stay.

 

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ACCOMMODATION


Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the holiday destination.
The holiday destination must be left in a clean condition upon departure. The customer is responsible for cleaning the holiday home during and at the end of the holiday, unless the final cleaning fee has been paid in advance.
The customer is responsible for paying the cleaning costs of the holiday home if smoking has occurred inside the holiday home, cleaning has not been done or has been done inadequately and the owner of the holiday home has to take care of it before the next customer arrives. Cleaning instructions are on the wall at the holiday home.
You must notify us when making a reservation about bringing a pet.

DAMAGE COMPENSATION

The person renting the cottage is responsible for any damage caused intentionally or unintentionally to the accommodation facility or its movable property.
The customer is responsible for any lost keys to the holiday home and the costs of installing new locks and having keys made.

Items left behind at the holiday destination will be stored for 14 days. Upon request, the items will be mailed/delivered to the customer. The customer is responsible for the costs incurred in sending them. We also charge a service fee of 10e.

 

POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS

All comments and complaints regarding the equipment and condition of the accommodation must be addressed directly to the owner immediately after they arise. Complaints made afterwards will not be taken into account.

Larin Lomat is not responsible for any damage caused to the customer due to unforeseen force majeure or similar reasons, damage or consequences caused by normal natural phenomena.

 

RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICES

If the customer is charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error in the system, the cottage owner has the right to invoice the correct amount.
